What is Darkfold, you might ask? You hear it is dreary, morbid, and an absolutely horrid, yet fascinating world. And if that is what you heard, then you are completely and utterly correct.

Darkfold exists in a separate plane altogether; it is the point between light and dark, and it is only accessible by the portal formed by the Nosrepon. Though others may enter this world, it is not suggestible due to the hostile occupants.
Within, it is a limitless plane. A dark, murky realm filled with pain and despair. Buildings, trees, oceans, animals; everything is but a shadow, a reflection of a solid existance in an ethereal world. It is darkness, and it is hate. To enter the world, you become your shadow; upon exiting, you are once again a form, solid and firm.
Many Nosrepon despise their home, and upon reaching the higher status of Watcher or above, they create a portal and leave to perform "duties of observation and conquest." However, depending on their skill at creating such portals, they may be unable to return to the world they are linked to within their cruel souls. Thus, many are stuck inside of Darkfold, playing the social game that becomes the most substantial thing in their lives.
