Race Description
Norythians are an old, ancient race belonging to the lush forests of the Hjork Chein. In general, they are small feathered creatures that closely resemble an Earthian cat with wings. Their feathers are mostly soft and downy, with the exceptions being their wings and brows. Though they are sentient, civilized (let's use that term loosely), and possess a keen intellect, they are often sought as pets. During the The Sundering of Peoples, the race was relocated by the Neo-Vildaek to the newly terraformed planet Varhi.
Here, like all manner of beings brought by the Neo-Vildaek, they were genetically altered; however, the DNA alteration did little to the race but create a larger strain of species that were wingless and had the more angular feature of birds. With the forming of barrier, the Neo-Vildaek abandoned plans to continue testing on the Norythian race, and they fled into the wilds to live a nomadic lifestyle.
Though the natives of Makai have named these small beings as "Norythians," they dub themselves "Fly Fast," and "Fly None," in a translated series of hisses, growls, and clicks.
